In order to improve the quality of education and the formation of an anti-corruption culture among young people, meetings with students are held at all institutes from November 12 to 15, 2019. On the first day, meetings were held at the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education and the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography. Led by the vice-rectors, the events were attended by members of the Commission on Anti-Corruption Council and leaders of youth organizations of the university.
The first vice-rector Maktagali Bektemesov, who presented the composition of the Anti-Corruption Council committees, opened the meeting. In addition, he spoke about the recently opened Center «Parasat» and the measures taken to prevent corruption at the university.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Asan Satmurzaev introduced the rules of behavior at the examination session and encouraged all students to behave culturally and decently. Vice-rector for educational work and social development Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev briefly talked about the ongoing comprehensive work to prevent corruption at the university and urged students to comply with the Code of Academic Honesty. During the meeting, students asked questions of interest to which they received comprehensive answers from speakers. Meetings on the prevention of corruption among students will last until November 15 of this year.
