As part of the work plan of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service of Abai University for the current year, from October 2 to November 8, 2023 and in order to improve the quality of education of all seven institutes, meetings were held with heads of departments and other teachers on the topic “Formation of an anti-corruption culture.”

During the meetings, the main problematic issues in the framework of combating corruption in the field of higher education were discussed, as well as the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption”, preventive measures, risks of corruption, The issues of organizing events, interpreting the norms of internal regulatory documents, and monitoring compliance with anti-corruption standards were widely explained. At the end of the meeting, questions from the event participants were answered, and a free discussion was held. Recommendations were adopted on the need to hold such meetings on a regular basis.
