Prevention and prevention of corruption, Formation of an anti-corruption culture

At the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, in accordance with the work plan of the anti-corruption compliance service, from March 13 to March 20, 2024, in order to clarify the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption,” regular meetings were held with students on the topics: “Prevention and Prevention of Corruption Manifestations,” “Formation of an anti-corruption culture.”

The meeting was attended by the head of the compliance service Madiev K.K., the compliance officer of the service Usipov K.T., to which master's and doctoral students of the university institutes were invited (Philology; Art, culture and sports; Pedagogy and psychology; Mathematics, physics and computer science; natural science and geography; history and law). More than 200 students took part in 6 meetings held offline.
During the meetings, students were explained the issues of compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 37001-2016 - the anti-corruption management system implemented at the university. As part of combating corruption in the field of higher education, the main problematic issues were discussed, as well as measures taken to combat corruption; preventive measures; repressive measures; Code of Ethics for Civil Servants; “Fundamentals of anti-corruption policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan” presented in the form of slides.

The meetings were held at a high organizational level and with the active participation of students who asked interested questions related to the topic.

During the period of midterm knowledge control, in anticipation of preparation for the session, the meetings held are of great importance from the point of view of explaining to students the requirements of the Code of Academic Integrity, the rules of Ethics, compliance with the requirements of the international anti-corruption standard ISO 37001:2016 introduced at the university and preventing their violations.
