On September 18, 2025, a seminar was held at our university as part of the project *“Honest Generation”* (*“Адал Ұрпақ”*), implemented by the Public Foundation *“Information and Resource Center”* on behalf of the Youth Policy Department of Almaty city.

The theme of the seminar was *“Corruption — one of the main problems of society.”* The main goal of the event was to discuss measures to combat corruption and to promote anti-corruption awareness among young specialists in Almaty.

During the seminar, the following speakers took the floor:

• Madiev Kurmangazy Kapashevich — Head of the Compliance Service for Anti-Corruption of the Non-Commercial Joint Stock Company *“Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University”*, veteran of public service;
• Kamalov Bakhtiyar Kamalovich — President of the Kazakhstan Franchise Association, President of the Eurasian Association;
• Adilbayev Almat Zhanabayevich — Expert of the Public Council, member of the monitoring group, and actor.

The event was attended by 100 students of our university. The students received important information about the negative consequences of corruption for society and the economy, and became more aware of the importance of fighting corruption. In addition, the participants discussed in detail ways to improve the effectiveness of anti-corruption activities among young people.

The main goal of the *“Honest Generation”* project is to help reduce the scale of corruption among the youth of Almaty and to minimize its negative impact on the country’s economy.

This seminar became an important event that made a significant contribution to fostering anti-corruption awareness among young people and strengthening justice and transparency in society.
