On January 17, 2025, a lecture on combating corruption was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University under the theme "Together Against Corruption" as part of anti-corruption education for administrative and managerial staff, deans, and other university departments.

The lecture was delivered by the Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, Kurmangazy Madiev. In his speech, he discussed the legal framework for combating corruption in our country, its gradual formation and implementation, as well as the institutions involved in the prevention and fight against corruption. He particularly emphasized the consequences of corrupt practices and provided recommendations on how to act if one witnesses or becomes involved in unlawful activities, or if someone demands or offers a bribe.

During the event, participants learned about the meaning, essence, and manifestations of corruption, as well as ways to combat and resist it. They also engaged in discussions, answering questions such as "What is a bribe?" and "What is the difference between a bribe and a gift?", along with other topics related to anti-corruption measures.

At the conclusion of the lecture, Kurmangazy Madiev urged all attendees to demonstrate zero tolerance for corruption, to think about the future of our country, and to recognize that its development depends on collective efforts in the fight against corruption.
