On March 5, 2026, a seminar on «Corruption Prevention» was organized for the teaching staff at the Faculty of History and Law of Abai University. The purpose of the event was to explain the key principles of anti-corruption policy, promote a culture of academic integrity, and strengthen measures to prevent violations.
During the seminar, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service of Abai University, Kurmangazy Madiev, delivered a presentation on the anti-corruption measures being implemented at the university. He also provided comprehensive information on ways to prevent corruption-related offenses.
In addition, the seminar addressed issues related to ensuring transparency and fairness in the educational process, observing standards of professional ethics, and strengthening the principles of academic integrity. Participants received clear and detailed answers to their questions. Such events represent an important step toward fostering a culture of openness and integrity at the university, as well as creating an effective anti-corruption environment.
