On April 3, 2026, a seminar on the topic “Prevention of Corruption Manifestations” was held for the teaching staff at the Faculty of Arts of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
The purpose of the event was to prevent corruption in the higher education sector, strengthen the principles of academic integrity, and promote a culture of professional ethics.
During the seminar, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service of Abai University, Kurmangazy Madiev, addressed corruption risks and current problematic issues in the higher education system. In addition, detailed information was provided on the main areas of anti-corruption efforts, prevention mechanisms, and effective tools for combating corruption.
Participants were informed about the key signs of corruption manifestations, and ways to prevent them were discussed. The speaker emphasized that the principles of integrity, transparency, responsibility, and professional ethics play a special role in preventing corruption in educational institutions.
During the seminar, lecturers shared their opinions, asked practical questions, and exchanged views on ways to develop an anti-corruption culture.
This event became one of the important steps aimed at supporting the university’s anti-corruption policy and strengthening the principles of integrity in the educational environment.
