Formation of the "Zero Tolerance" Principle towards Corruption

On March 3, 2026, a seminar was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University for the teaching staff of the Faculty of Philology on the formation of the "zero tolerance" principle towards corruption, within the framework of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022–2026.
During the seminar, the head of the university’s Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, Kurmangazy Madiev, acquainted the participants with the main directions of the anti-corruption policy being implemented at the university. Issues related to academic integrity, prevention of illegal monetary rewards and gift-giving, as well as ensuring transparency in the educational process, were discussed in detail.
Special attention was given to measures for preventing offenses during the examination period. In particular, the importance of ensuring transparency in the assessment procedure, enhancing control, strictly adhering to the established rules for conducting exams, and preventing any wrongful actions were emphasized.
At the conclusion of the event, the teaching staff was reminded that adherence to the "zero tolerance" principle towards corruption is the professional responsibility of every employee at the university.
