On September 24, 2026, the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Almaty (hereinafter referred to as the Department), the Department of Youth Policy of Almaty, and the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University jointly held a seminar-training on the topic «No to Corruption: One Step Towards a Clean Society.»
The event was attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography of the University, faculty members, and students.

During the seminar, Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service Kurmangazy Madiyev addressed issues related to corruption prevention, compliance with the principles of transparency and integrity, prevention of conflicts of interest, prevention of the illegal receipt of remuneration and gifts, as well as strengthening the principles of academic integrity.
As part of the event, Chairman of the University Veterans’ Council, Academician Berikzhan Almakhambetov, spoke in support of the President’s “Law and Order” initiative. In his speech, he called on students to strictly comply with the requirements of the law, adhere to the principles of honesty and fairness, and promote a respectful attitude towards the law in society.
Moldir Zhabaeva, Chief Specialist of the Department’s Corruption Prevention Division, emphasized the importance of corruption prevention and provided explanations on conflicts of interest, legislative restrictions concerning gifts, and the procedure to be followed in the event of receiving a gift.
Zhanar Abdikadyrova, Head of the “Azamat” Project of the Department of Youth Policy of Almaty, delivered a presentation on “Combating Online Addiction.” During the meeting, the main signs of online addiction and its impact on a person’s studies, work, and social relationships were explained. The participants also discussed safe digital behavior, appropriate responses to various situations on the internet, and the prevention of cyber threats.
During the event, participants were also shown video materials related to the topic of the seminar.
