On September 28, 2026, the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Almaty (hereinafter referred to as the Department), jointly with the Youth Policy Department of Almaty and the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, held a seminar-training on the topic «No to Corruption: One Step Towards a Clean Society» at the Faculty of Philology.
The event was attended by the faculty management, staff members, and students. During the meeting, Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service Kurmangazy Madiyev addressed issues related to ensuring transparency and fairness, preventing conflicts of interest, preventing the receipt of illegal monetary rewards and gifts, as well as upholding the principles of academic integrity.
As part of the event, Moldir Zhаbayeva, Chief Specialist of the Department’s Corruption Prevention Division, explained the importance of corruption prevention, requirements for preventing conflicts of interest, and compliance with legislation in the field of education.
Participants were also provided with information on the concept and types of corruption, established restrictions on receiving and giving gifts, as well as the procedure to follow in cases of receiving gifts.
At the end of the seminar-training, participants asked questions of interest, received comprehensive answers, and exchanged views on the issues discussed. Video materials on the topic were also demonstrated during the event.
