On January 17, 2025, a lecture on combating corruption was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University under the theme "Together Against Corruption" as part of anti-corruption education for administrative and managerial staff, deans, and other university departments.

The lecture was delivered by the Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, Kurmangazy Madiev. In his speech, the lecturer discussed the legal framework for combating corruption in our country, its step-by-step formation and implementation, as well as the system of bodies involved in the prevention and fight against this negative phenomenon. He specifically highlighted the consequences of corruption and provided recommendations on how to act if one witnesses or becomes involved in unlawful activities, or if someone demands or offers a bribe.

During the event, participants learned about the meaning of corruption, its essence, manifestations, and ways to combat it. Attendees also engaged in discussions, answering questions such as "What is a bribe?" and "What is the difference between a bribe and a gift?", along with other topics related to anti-corruption measures.

At the end of the lecture, Kurmangazy Madiev urged all attendees to show zero tolerance for corruption, to think about the future of our country, and to recognize that its development depends on collective efforts in the fight against corruption.
