On January 22, 2026, a seminar on the topic “Issues of Combating Corruption” was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University for the teaching staff of the Faculty of Physical Education and Initial Military Training.

The Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service of Abai University, Kurmangazy Madiev, introduced the participants to the main directions of the university’s anti-corruption policy. He noted the importance of ensuring that cases of illegal monetary rewards and gift-giving do not occur among faculty members and students.

During the seminar, special attention was paid to the issues of corruption prevention in the education sector and the development of an anti-corruption culture among faculty members and students. The teaching staff were also informed about the importance of adhering to the principles of academic integrity, legality, and ethical conduct.
